And it's back. Please welcome, the latest edition of our wall of fame where we try to make our regular set of writers feel all mushy inside.
The last edition had a brilliant set of writers featuring Siddharth, Pulkit, Siddharth (again), Pranav, Krithika, Blesson, Omkar and Utkarsh. Although some of them have moved on, some still continue to stick with us. But this is not about them.
This is about a whole new set of writers that not only kick some major hard ass but are total mad caps too.
Without further ado. Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you - Wall Of Fame, The Second!
Dhanesh was probably the second best thing to have happened to Whackk! since Siddhu. The first being our kick-ass new design. (lil gloating never hurt anyone)
Dhanesh has since featured in every issue, sometimes contributing more than one article. It took Dhanesh some time to come into his own at Whackk. But as soon as he found his feet, some really thought provoking topics started coming up from him. His articles made us and the readers appreciate him more and more.
The best part about Dhanesh is his ever willing to help attitude. He has always offered to help us, be it writing, designing or even editing. Dhanesh never made any fuss about any thing till date, and on top of that he got us another gem of a writer in Sohni.
It's been almost a year now since we started off with us and a bunch of friends/writers who we could fall back on. Today Dhanesh and Sohni are very much a part of that bunch.

One fine day while working over a new issue (sounds cool!) we received this mail. A regular 'I wanna write for you guys..' blah that we get often. Then we realise that this chick is from Egypt and all.
"We have writers from all over the world. Like Egypt , U.S etc."
So just to make that cool statement, we thought we'll give her a shot. And today she is one of the strongest pillars of Whackk!
Sohni's written book reviews, Pinkk and Wickked articles for us. That itself speaks volumes about her versatility. She happens to be our woman Friday.
And yes, ek baar Sohni ne commitment kar di. uske baad toh woh Kartikeya aur Vivek ki bhi nahi sunti! :P
P.S - She is also trying to hook us onto LSD and has a major thing for psychedelia and that sorta stuff.

6-7 months into Whackk! we realised that girls/women formed a mere 25-30% of our fans. We then decided to up that number by having a section for/by/of girls. The intention was to attract more girls to us by writing on topics they?d find interesting.
Enter Priyam at the right time in the scene. Priyam went on to write some world famous articles on waxing, mammary glands, periods etc.
Today, girls form an even lesser percentage of our fans. Thanks Priyam!
We have a lot to say about this female. She is smart, sassy, witty, etc. Claims to be sexy. We even went public on our Facebook page and said we thought she was actually sexy.
We were just buttering her up, then.
Hailing from Delhi, Priyam and our earlier wall of fame featured Krithika, have made us Mumbaites form a complete different opinion of chicks from Delhi that we had earlier. And commerce people. And chicks in general.
Her expertise involves ranting about everything that makes women, ermm, women. And gets off on being pervy and controversial.
We don?t know where she blogs or how we came into contact with her.
For some reason, his e-mail address has the word ?micman? in it. So does, the title of his blog. He should be calling himself Batman, instead. We were always on the lookout for tech writers, coz the Tekk section was struggling to keep up with it?s counterparts.
Enter Manoj Kumar
This guy, without any fuss, drops in an article every freaking month. Without fail.
Then disappears. Just like Batman.
Basically we don?t know anything about him.
Just like the residents of Gotham City don?t know anything about batman.
Ok. Enough of the batman references.
Also, he is too cool. Just like Batman.

Another tech blogger coming to our rescue, Karan is passionate about a lot of things it seems. Gadgets and technology are just one of them.
When we contacted him, he was all pro like and said ?You will have a tech article in your inbox by the tenth of every month?. We never thought he would be that punctual.
You know what we are going to say now.
No?
He is actually that punctual.
He even runs his own tech-news website and loves football.
His website: http://www.firstain.com
Christopher Poshin David is certainly a long name, so we'll call him Poshin for now. And forever. :P
It is no secret that one half of the Whackk! team (Kartikeya) is totally into football while the other half (Vivek) doesn't subscribe to a single sports channel at his place. Inevitably then, the sports section had to be biased in favour of Football coverage which some readers were quick to point out.
We soon succumbed to the fact that this is India , aur idhar cricket hi chalta hai boss!
Our search for a kick-ass cricket writer/fan/whackko ended at Poshin. He's young, passionate and whackked. Perfect!
Poshin's articles are sharp and make you ponder. Don't believe me, check out some his work, make sure you wear your abdomen guard, lest his words slit you open.
After a brief gap of a few months thanks to stupid examinations, Poshin's back at Whackk (killa rhyme!).
Oh and he seems to have a huge thing for the Aussie accent. His love of 'Mate' is overflowing in my our inbox and chat-windows.
Welcome back Mate!!!! :)

Now this is one guy who is a serious contender for being the funniest writer at Whackk. Just read this article to know what I?m talking about.
Kkaise Mila Mai Teri Maa KKo was the first article to break into the ?5 all time most popular articles? list which was not written by the Whackk Team. And boy, is that article still making waves.
Sachin is, plainly put, a puzzle. We could never figure him out. Unlike most of our writers we never knew much about him. After writing two brilliant articles for us he probably hit, what is more commonly known as , the writer?s block. His last message to me was : ?I won't be writing anytime soon, I'm afraid. I'm out of time and patience to be funny these days. Sorry.?
We never heard from him since. Today he is not to be found on any social network as well (maybe he just blocked us. Or not).
If you are anywhere out there in the galaxy Sachin, this message is for you : Please come back. We miss you :(
Yes, we?re a little pansy sometimes.
